In Remembrance of

Charles R. (Roland) Mathewes KC5EFG

Born March 25, 1947

Silent Key May 31, 2008

Roland received his Amateur Radio Licensed November 23, 1993 as KC5EFG

I have known Roland, KC5EFG, for the past 14 years that I have been in Ruston.  Roland was a faithful friend to me and to all, giving to all as much as he could by driving, helping, just being a friend, and an active important member of the Piney Hills Ham Radio Club. He participated in many-many Phara club activities: Monday Night Nets, Tail-Gate Parties, field days, nets, and ham fests throughout the state. He will be greatly missed.
